Burt BOG2 dog in Turku,
Puntti BOB puppy

Burt (Wheelback's Big Easy) was second best dog at the final competition for FCI group 2 dogs at the all-breed championship show in Turku on the 9th of August. This was really well done as there were many top winning show dogs from this group at the show. Burt also became Finnish, Estonian and Ukrainian Champion in the breed competition as he received his last Challenge Certificate required for the champion title. The Estonian and Ukrainian titels still have to be confirmed by the national kennel clubs of the coutries.

BOS bulldog at the show was Patsy (INT & NORD & FIN & S & DK & N CH NOW-08 Wheelback's African Queen). She is Burt's mother and proudly posed for the photographer with the judge. A nice day for the mother and her son! Burt has always been Patsy's favorite boy.

Bulldogs at the show were judged by Rajko Rottner from Slovenia and FCI 2 group finals were judged by Alfredo Alessandri from Italy. Burt was shown by his trusted handler Viivi Alaluusua, whom we have much to thank for as she has travelled with Burt to many dog shows and shown him succesfully, in good understanding with the dog. A big thanks to Viivi and Burt's owner Heidi Sipponen for good co-operation!

Puntti (Wheelback's Crusader) was BOB puppy. He showed himself nicely with his owner Juho Järvinen. Like his uncle Burt, Puntti is a slowly maturing type of bulldog and still needs to body up. He already has a very good head.

It was really nice to show bulldogs of three genrations bred by us. Hopefully we will be able to do so often in the future, as Patsy's grandchildren are now taking their first steps in the show rings.
