Ella, Bessie, Patsy and Roli at the Speciality Show in Sweden
Ella (INT & FIN & S & EST & N CH Black Hope Tutti-Frutti),
Bessie (FIN & EST & S CH Jewbull's American Pie), Roli
(Brampton Tug Tough) and Patsy (Wheelback's African Queen)
took part in the 40th Anniversary Show of the Bulldog Club of Sweden June
4th and the Speciality Show for bulldogs June 5th in Degerfors. There
were many bulldogs from Scandinavian countries at the shows and many fine
sourmugs were seen in the showrings during the weekend. Finnish bulldogs
were well represented at the show.
At the Anniversary Show bulldogs were judged by Rob Harris (kennel
Nobozz). Roli was best male puppy at the puppy class for 6-9 months old
puppies and second best male puppy at the show. Roli's show judgement
can be read here. BIS puppy at
the show was Finnish-bred Flatty Face's Brave Remus, bred by Sari
Neuvonen (kennel Flatty Face's) and owned by Karin Ögren
(kennel Malcom's).

At the Speciality show bulldogs were judged by Carol Newman (kennel
Wencar). Roli was second best male puppy in his competition class and
second best male puppy at the show. Roli's show judgement can be read
here.

Patsy was fourth best junior bitch at the Speciality show. Her show judgement
can be read here.

Ella was third best champion bitch at the Speciality show. Her show judgement
can be read here. Bessie was not awarded
but got a goodshow judgement from Carol Newman. Bessie's judgement can
be read here.

Roli's "big brother" Dave (FIN CH Bullrock's Dudley)
was third best male in the open class at the Anniversary show and best
male at the Speciality show. Dave is owned by Iris Valtonen.
Despite the rainy weather the weekend was very nice. It is seldom one
can see so many fine bulldogs in the show rings at the same time here
in Scandinavia. As always, the shows were very well arranged and the atmosphere
was stressless. More information about the shows and show results can
be read on the home pages of the Bulldog
Club of Sweden.
